| VooDooLand have been regularly playing the club and bar circuit in the NY/NJ area since August 1995, but the VooDooLand name has been around for much longer than that. Started in 1986, the band has had many impressive members over the years, including such alumni as Robert Mason (Lynch Mob), Joey Z (Prophet), Jimmy Callahan (Prophet), and present members Billy Orrico, Bruce Terkildsen (Voodooland), and of course, Karl Cochran. VooDooLand plays a huge variety of classic rock cover tunes, from The Allman Brothers to ZZ Top, from Black Sabbath to Stevie Ray Vaughan. If you want to hear it, there's a good chance Far Cry will play it. Just to keep things interesting, they spice their set up with some newer tunes from Alice In Chains and Stone Temple Pilots. At last count, they have a song list of 120+ songs of some of the best rock of the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s on their regular setlist. VooDooLand also showcases an acoustic set, which really shows off Bruce and Karl’s singing talents, reminding their audiences just what fine musicians these guys really are. |
